Over that period he covered a broad scope: - network and compute foundations: IPv4/IPv6 addressing plan, VPC, IPAM and deployment of the first GKE clusters with Terraform/Terragrunt; - the clusters' platform services through ArgoCD (cert-manager, ExternalDNS, External Secrets, HAProxy) and the migration of secrets to Google Secret Manager; - the strategy and then the execution of the migration of the central services and their databases (PostgreSQL and SQL Server to Cloud SQL), through to the preproduction cutover and the production database migration; - FinOps work: cost per cluster size, autoscaling with KEDA, bin packing and right-sizing of workloads. Smoothly run projects, and a real pleasure working together.”
